last year, the firm exported 2.5 million jute and canvas bags to the united states, germany, spain, sweden, italy, greece, united kingdom, australia, south africa, u.a.e. among other countries. some of our well known customers being tesco, penny market, ralph lauren, booths, cadbury, quiksilver, macy’s, barneys new york etc. with increased production capacities, the firm has set itself an export target of 3.00 million bags this year. we employ 61 people and have contracted tailor groups of approximately 100 people who manufacture solely for us. aarbur has ventured in the export of jute bags for rice packaging and exports large quantities of these bags to thailand. the firm has a simple philosophy which guides it’s activities : “respect for nature and mankind”. this finds expression in everything the firm does from the purchase of raw materials to the packing of the finished products. each stage is carefully monitored to ensure that we remain “eco-friendly” and “socially responsible”.
